The front of the coin is struck with the 100th Running of the Indianapolis 500 commemorative logo and the reverse of the coin is struck with the Indianapolis Motor Speedway logo. Each gold plated coin is protected in a clear capsule to preserve its condition and delivered in a black velour jewelry display box. A limited edition of only 500, each mint coin is individually struck with a serial number on its edge and each is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
