DETAILS
This panorama, taken by Christopher Gjevre, highlights the Carolina Panthers hosting the Arizona Cardinals for a playoff game at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina. In 1993, the Panthers were selected as the 29th NFL franchise. In the summer of 1996, Bank of America Stadium opened on 33 acres of land in uptown Charlotte and was specifically designed for football. Following the 2013 season, a renovation project incorporated four escalator towers for easy access to upper level seats, and state-of-the-art technology, including high-definition video boards, vibrant ribbon boards and a distributed sound system throughout the bowl, continuing to make this classic American stadium one of the most striking and fan-friendly in the NFL.
